 KW Cadet Girls take Bronze at KW Cadet ClassicPosted: 20071118 KW hosted its annual Cadet Classic tournament November 16-18, 2007 at Wilfrid Laurier University with boy’s and girl’s teams from across Ontario and Quebec. Our girl’s team, coached by Greg Bidinosti and our boy’s by Jake Pottier, enjoyed some excellent competition with our girl’s capturing the bronze medal. Thanks to Paul Pottier and Linda Potovszky for their efforts in running the tournament which was enjoyed by all visiting teams and spectators. Our capable referees were Casey and Jake Pottier, Monica Blazon, Simon Porter, and Malcolm Jastrebski. Thanks to the cadets, youth and board members who were our minor officials. Anyone needing Linda to sign for their community service hours should bring the forms to practice. Sue Nagy, with help from several club members, was busy with sales at her 'store'. Her new 'You Create' iron-on wear was a huge success. Thanks to Jeff Wilson, for his assistance and expertise. Our programs were put together by Jo-Anne Griffin.
