Season Highlights Congratulations to Casey Pottier, recipient of a KSA Academic and Athletic Scholarship Award at the annual awards dinner June 4th. Posted: 2008609 Members of the Pottier and Potovszky families were there to celebrate Casey's 10 years of accomplishments with KW Water Polo and those during her 4 years at Grand River Collegiate Institute. During my introduction of Casey, I spoke, not only of Casey's numerous awards and attainments in water polo, which include leading her teams to 4 provincial titles, a gold medal at the Pan American Youth Games of 05 and her accomplishments on Provincial and National teams, but of her assistance with the club as volunteer, referee, coaching assistant and mentor to so many in the club. Casey's teachers at Grand River were enthusiastic in their description of Casey's 4 years as an honour roll student and member of several sports teams. Casey went to OFSAA with both the swim team and track and field teams while garnering MVP awards and setting records along the way. Both Club and School wish her an equally rewarding tenure at the University of Toronto beginning this fall. Linda Potovszky President KW Water Polo
