This KW Water Polo Club Communication is being sent to all members.

We are using last season's E-mail contact list until the registration process is complete.  If you do not plan to play with the club this year, please reply to this note and indicate the player's name and the E-mail address(es) we should delete from our list so we won't bother you with future communications.

We're covering a lot of material here so please take the time to read through it all. 

We are always looking for strong swimmers of all ages who have a desire and drive to join this sport.  Atom and Bantam aged children especially are invited to club try-outs at the Cameron Heights Pool, 301 Charles St. East during the first three weeks of practice.  If you know someone who might do well with our club, invite them to come out with swimsuit and towel and give it a try.

Youth:  Born 1990 - 1991
Senior:  Born 1989 or earlier

VOLUNTEERING IN OUR CLUB

Some sporting organizations make parent volunteer time a mandatory part of a child's participation.  While we have not yet gotten to this point, the reality is that our club needs your active participation for us to function successfully.  Parents need to step up and volunteer to do things that cannot be accomplished by simply paying a fund raising fee.  We need team managers, people willing to billet visiting athletes, to help with tournaments, to work on fund raising campaigns, and to help organize social events, just to name a few.

At this year's registration, we will have sign up sheets.  We are asking parents of all players to put their name down for at least one item that they are willing to help with through the season.  Help make this club the best it can be.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the upcoming season will be held Saturday September 15 at 11:00am at Breithaupt Centre, Room 109, 350 Margaret Ave. Kitchener.

A parent/player information session will be held starting at 11:45am and we'll be having a BBQ with hotdogs and pop available.

Registration packages will be handed out by various members of the Executive at practices prior to the registration date.  If we don't find you, try to find us at the pool and get yours.

Forms in the package need to be completed and signed by both parents and players as indicated in the package.

At registration, you will need to supply five cheques payable to the "KW Water Polo Club" for the amounts and dated as indicated below.  Note that if you have more than one child in the club, there is a discount of $50 on the registration fee for the second and subsequent children.  The Fund Raising Commitment is per family, not per child and can be credited back through participation in fund raising activities.  (See the website for more details.)
